Gandalf the Grey as described in 'The Fellowship of the Ring'. I didn't include the scarf cos he has no neck, the cloak isn't long enough and it's all too busy by half but I'm still gonna enter it into the Lit Me Baby competition and continue to work on it (and other entries) up until the deadline.

Why LOTR? Because it is (or was (or possibly was only in my imagination)) the biggest selling novel ever. And second largest selling book, behind the bible. It is quite an important part of literature.

Why Gandalf? 'Cos he's the easiest to do and be recognised. (although less so since you don't often think of him as having a blue hat). Hobbits and Dwarves would just look generic.

And stuff.
